About

I am a Ukrainian legal scholar holding a Candidate of Legal Sciences degree (PhD in Law). I was born in Mariupol, Ukraine. My professional background combines practical experience in law enforcement, academic research, and teaching.

I conducted my dissertation research at Mariupol State University. In 2017, I defended my dissertation at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, specialising in Constitutional and Municipal Law. My dissertation was entitled “Constitutional Foundations of the Establishment and Operation of Municipal Police: A Comparative Legal Study.”

My dissertation examined municipal police as an institution of local self-government from a constitutional law perspective. I explored the legal foundations of their establishment and operation, organisational models in different countries, and prospects for their development in Ukraine. I paid particular attention to the role of local communities in maintaining public order.

For 18 years, I worked in Ukrainian law enforcement, including the National Police of Ukraine, serving in investigative units in the Donetsk region. I combined practical work with academic research and teaching at Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs.

Since 2025, I have been based in Osterholz-Scharmbeck, Lower Saxony, Germany. I am continuing to develop my German-language skills and am interested in opportunities that bring together legal research, education, and academic administration.
